ACADEMIC CERTIFICATES

​About the Certificates program:

The VMC is the institutional home of three Certificates: formalized academic programs (15-18 credit hours) which provide special training and skills. A Certificate is formally recognized as part of the student's academic transcript and yields practical expertise, service learning opportunities, and enhanced employability. All three Certificates incorporate required and elective courses both within and beyond music, including dance, drama, history, business, literature, and a wide array of other academic disciplines.  All three Certificates provide opportunities for mentoring, research, professional development, and the integration of diverse yet complimentary skill-sets.
